Vlad Ketkovich

CEO, producer.

 

Graduated Moscow State Teacher Training University (Department of Geography), studied at Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors.

 

In 1990th organized and participated in many ethno-geographic expeditions, where worked as a journalist and filmmaker. First filming experiences - visual anthropology: Pigmy people (Zaire), Peruvian Indians (Peru), nomadic Kazakhs (Kazakhstan), etc. Shootings from expeditions were broadcasted at many Federal TV Channels in Russia.

In 2000 founded production company Ethnofund. Since 2006 Ethnogeographic Research Foundation (Ethnofund) has produced more than 20 documentaries (singles and series, most of them with Russian State support), that are broadcasted on number of Russian and international TV channels.

 

In 2010-2017 Vlad participated in number of International Documentary Festivals, Workshops, Training and Pitching sessions, like EAVE, IDFA, Hot Docs Forum (Canada, Toronto), Co-Production Meetings (Germany, DokLeipzig), Ex-Oriente (Jihlava and Prague, Czech Republic), Dragon Forum (Poland), WEMW (Italy, Trieste), Baltic Forum (Riga, Latvia), Thessaloniki Forum, Below Zero Pitch (Tromse, Norway), and others.

 

Since 2011 Vlad Ketkovich works a lot with International film teams as a Co-producer, Production Manager, Fixer, Researcher and Archive Researcher. He finds characters and documentary stories, works on shooting logistic, helps with Russian visas, works on shooting permissions (including FSB and Federal Penitentiary Service ). Vlad also has a number of professional DOPs and Sound engineers in Russia whom he works with, and has access to equipment rentals.

 

Vlad Ketkovich is a member of EDN, International Federation of Journalists, Russian Geographical Society and Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio. Also Vlad promotes Russian documentaries internationally on behalf of Russian Documentary Guild.
